Despite meeting the achievement requirements and testing both several times in several new and existing worlds, neither the 'Renewable Energy' or 'Super Fuel' achievements have unlocked for me on the Win 10 version of the game.
An attempt on Xbox One for the Renewable Energy achievement was also unsuccessful.
I used the wood trunks and not the planks.
