If you place leaves in creative, they disappear although they didnt come from a tree.

This is the way it has always worked in MCPE, and is consistent with MC behavior before 1.8 beta. Please don't file differences between editions as bugs, these are essentially feature requests (and we don't track those here).

so it musta been fixed in Minecraft 1.0,WHICH WAS RELEASED AFTER POCKET EDITION

No if you place leaves eg as decoration at the side of a street...

If you have sand below your leaves it will decay. Just put grass under the leaves.

Player placed leaves are not to decay. This is still happening in 0.7.2. Fix it please.

it was a missing "const", doh

also, people are right: player-placed leaves are supposed to not decay in creative.

1. Did you place them, if u didn't then I think they should decay..
