Arrow going through wall?

I was shooting my arrows at a mob near the world limit. I missed many times,and when it was dead,I went to collect my arrows. One had seemingly hit the bedrock wall. It was not there. I shot another arrow,and it passed through the Invisible Bedrock!Is this a bug?
