New blocks were available in my world and now I get error message of "A newer version of the game has saved to this level"

Earlier I played my survival world and noticed their were all these different blocks that i could craft. Being curious i crafted a campfire and placed it down and crafted a block i think was called a Smithing table when I placed it I couldnt figure out how to use it so i put it in my chest. I had to go so i saved the world and exited the minecraft app and when i came back and opened the app the game had problems syncing so the game wouldnt start. I tried closing the app and restarting my console many times even hard resetting but that didnt work. So i uninstalled the game and reinstalled and i was finally able to get into the game only to find out that i could'nt enter my worlds because "A newer version of the game has saved to this level. it cannot be loaded." I've spent ALOT of time on this world and now i cant play it anymore im guessing because the new blocks in the game but theres only two in my world and i didnt download any update to get them.
