Vindicator would kill other raid mob if their hurt vindicator. The vindicator will stop attack villager and go back to kill other illager who hurt him.

@Village & Pillage Do you even know that illagers (pillagers evokers vindicators ravagers and illusioners) don't attack each other? Because this is a bug.

But all illager and witch aren't guilty expect vindicators.(Even the ravager won't fight back too) Or is this an Easter Egg of Johnny too?
