When typing in the world title in the create world menu, characters like ¹³€• make the text smaller as I assume the default font doesn't support these characters.

Not really. It's the font switching between them, which is slightly different than the font just being different.

We're tracking this issue in MCPE-4534, so this ticket is being resolved and linked as a duplicate.
