I am playing on a realm with my friends we have a few nether portals but im not sure if that affects anything. This glitch has happened twice to me on this realm and once to a friend on a different realm. It is Very annoying as it is incredibly difficult if not impossible to get back.

No the glitch is that when I went through it it took me to coordinates in the nether which were very far from where the nether ports should have been

What is the glitch exactly? Is it that the nether portal brought you back to a different portal? If so, it was probably just an issue with linking portals, which is not a bug.
