I have arranged villagers into homes which they are not able to get out of, however this is the second time that my weaponsmith has disappeared without being killed. The latest villager was named too which I thought would reduce the likelihood of it despawning. This villagers property follows the same basic design as the others where he has a few blocks to path find between a bed and a work station, with a door in front of the workstation to allow the player to access the villager and to stop enemy mobs from getting close to the villager. The surrounding area is completely walled off too and I have not found them wandering around nearby.

I initiated and completed a raid and now cannot trade with nearly half of my villagers, when clicked they simply do not display any interface. Certain villagers seem worse affected than others, all of my farmers are refusing to play ball but my butchers are fine, and of my librarians 4 out of 5 are not accepting trades.
I have experienced the same thing. My base is about 100 blocks away from my villager trading hall, and over half of my villagers have despawned. Also, all the villagers that have despawned has traded with

im on xbox and i have been having the same problem with my villagers, there is no way that mobs can get them, and yet they seem to keep disappearing

Well I hoped that the problem was with the one enclosure being buggy but now I log in to find my librarian with mending and silk touch enchants has suffered the same fate. This game is becoming unbearably unplayable.
