So I and my Xbox one friend want to play Minecraft, so he tries to join my windows 10 world but it keeps saying unable to connect. and we tried a lot of things like restarting the router, Xbox live, Lan. None of them worked.

Are they both the same version?
Example: win10: mc vers. 1.11.0
Xbox: mc vers. 1.11.4
These need to be the same if you are wanting to play with another OS running bedrockmc
