[MCPE-478] My ipod can't join my ipads game

I am attempting to join my ipads game with my ipod but it wont let me it will do vise versa though pls help

When the ipad connects though it automatically boots them

Is this still a concern in the current Minecraft version? If so, please update the affected versions in order to best aid Mojang ensuring bugs are still valid in the latest releases/pre-releases.
