On xbox one (s) i have 1.13.0.01 but my friends have 1.11.4. This means i can't play with them. I also don't have any updates available.

In order to play with your friends you will need to be on the same version
You will not have access to Realms and will not be able to join non-beta players while you're previewing the beta
Leave the beta in your Xbox insider hub app.
