Realm invites via links broken

Recently, there have been many found bugs within the game, including broken dye colors, resetting skins, etc. This issue relates to Minecraft Bedrock Edition realms, and it occurs when I try to use a link to join a realm (example = https://realms.gg/(code) ). After the use of the button to "Open Minecraft", the game states that my skin is invalid and cannot be using to play multi-player. However, multi-player games function fine with my custom skin, skins from skin packs, and default Steve/Alex skins. None of these skins worked via the link no matter what skin it was. When I entered the realms code in Minecraft to join the realm, it worked fine and I could join with any skin I wanted. I could even change my skin via the in-game menu.
