Nether reactor core makes sun move quickly and it is permanently night

Me and my friend where playing and we make a reactor core we set it up and when we were done we destroyed the core early by accident. We slept afterword then 10 seconds later it was night. We slept 5 more times but it was night ten seconds later. Please fix it!!
