Air glitch I kinda flew lost my stuff

I logged on to my lets play world and I was flying but moving up and down fast i lost 6 butter ore 5 diamonds 2 diamond picks and a ton of cobble coal and iron I'm kinda upset I fixed it by closing it out in the multitasking bar and reopening it but my stuff was still gone 😞
