This happens everytine i play minecraft on my xbox one. The game starts off okay but everytime i eat something, no matter what it is, it crashes my game and ive tried different worlds, different items to eat and ive even tried it with experimental gameplay off too but to no avail, please can we get this fixed as i do love playing minecraft and have put so much time and money into it too. Hi, I also have the same problem, but in this case it is in Windows 10, and it only happens when as the last portion of a meal, the game crashes and sends me to the home screen, I have already tried it in different worlds and The same thing always happens. I hope they solve it as soon as possible.
I am also experiencing a similar problem on Windows 10, every time I use a pick axe or axe my game crashes.

just tried it again and yeah it’s whenever I eat the last one of something
I've been having this same issue except I'm on mobile and it only happens when I'm eating the last watermelon slice of a stack.
