I am unable to regenerate my missing donkey. I have logged out and logged back in several times to no result, the lead is still there and when i walk in the pen, i bump into something before i hit the fence border. I just can see or interact with my donkey

Is this still an issue in 1.14? May be duplicate of MCPE-21416 where mobs are known to despawn on chunk borders, which there is one of in the "pen" based on the texture pack shown.
