when you place a piston in a certain direction the texture becomes weird and there sort of is a double piston

We're actually already tracking this issue at MCPE-38053, so we will resolve and link this ticket as a duplicate.
A fix for this issue is included in the current beta release. No specific date can be provided when the fix makes it to the stable release.
