When I try to write on signs

When I placed a sign on my (dont mean to brag) AWESOME house. then my kindle froze and I was like WHAAAAAAAAI and it shut down. It happened before then it recovered but IDK what happened D: Someone say if they had the same problem and someone heeelppp
