Armor is not appearing when you equip it.

When I tried to equip armor in the 1.14.0.1 beta, my armor bar increased as usual, but when I went into second and third person pov, I just showed my skin which was the steve founders cape. I tried changing my skin to a normal custom skin but nothing changed.
