the redstone in the latest beta is all broken. Sometimes items don't pass through the hoppers that is connected to another hopper and even dropper item elevator is broke as well, some times the item just travel to next dropper or maybe go to the end and stop. Well everytime only one single item is stuck not more than one item. Take a look at the photos.

I searched so as not to duplicate the countless duplicates and as per the title: Redstone IS totally broken:
Example 1) 150 blocks apart redstone circuit - set up 2 ticking areas to cover the distance - works sometimes - sometimes doesn't work (remote harvester of crops) - problem is that you fix it to work by breaking circuit and reconnecting - close the world - reopen and it fails often....
Example 2) Simple circuits work fine when connected initially - close the world and voila - circuit has to be broken and reconnected to work - so in both cases the circuits work when installed but fail virtually every time you close the world and reopen - just ran a test - circuits work more if you close the actual game completely rather than just the world you are playing - not sure if this is tied to the rendering issues with redstone over long distances (repeaters don't light up etc when connected to live redstone, etc etc - some do, some dont)
System is: Windows 10 Bedrock (Single player not a Realm) - 8th Gen i7 NVidia GTX 1060 16GB Ram
Please put only one bug report in each ticket. It is very difficult to keep track of bugs when they are not in their own tickets, and it is easier for you to make multiple tickets than for the mods to separate them.

I tested some of my creations that include item elevators in 1.14.0.1. To me everything works fine. Maybe send here a picture of your system and I will try to help?
