Bees will randomly attack without provocation

While standing next to several Beehives (Data ID : beehive) occupied to max occupancy, I was attacked by the entire swarm unprovoked.

This may be linked to having harvested a hive earlier and being attacked, with some of the bees "remembering" I attacked them, but after being killed by the bees, I came back to the hive and was able to harvest the hives without being attacked. I was browsing the internet while AFK near the hives, and heard the bees start to attack (about 15-20 minutes after I had safely harvested and not provoked the bees). 

For reference, there were a total of 12 hives, each at max occupancy. I have attached an Image showing build and also an image showing beta version. directly underneath each hive is a campfire so the bees should not have even been provoked in the first place.
