Cannot place sugarcane.

I cannot place sugarcane on sand, dirt, or grass on any map.
I had a certain map for about a year, destroyed a sugarcane farm to make a bigger one somewhere else, but the app freezes then immediately crashes when I try to place it.

I honestly do to have an idea how long this bug has existed, I haven't had to place sugarcane for a while. I don't know how this happened or how to fix it, short of redownloading loading the app.
