I was making a slime farm, and quit for a short while... When I open my world it was really destroyed... There are massive holes everywhere that leads you into the void.. see screenshots below.... I have no mods and add-ons.... Im completely on survival mode to gain achievements... No texture packs, absolutely nothing... I don't know what happened... Please fix

This is a glitch that existed a while ago but it seems the recent update has re-added this bug, much like many other bugs. Sadly there is absolutely nothing that can be done to fix this, just pray you backed it up, if not, well ignore the hole because there is no way to fix it. This effected my creative redstone world long ago. Hopefully it’s fixed.

for some odd reason occasionally chunks are lost when the game saves.
Unfortunately all you can do is either integrate the void into your world, put in a floor. don't fall in like I did the first time, you lose everything in your inventory. Or you can go to a previous copy... I had to go back two weeks once to recover all that was turned into void. I had to give up a lot of progress and tons of acquired items to get my world back to normal. the following pick are three of seven voids that appeared one day. they have become an interesting feature and quite useful.
