Villagers dont claim beds next to them that are unoccupied and profession blocks too.If I place a profession block or bed next to a villager it doesn't claim it, instead a villager across the village claims it.Another thing is that a villager that has claimed a bed or block after a while it unclaims the bed or block and another villager not even close to either thing claims it.
