water elevator has missing or replaced texture for water

I built a water elevator with fencegates to stop the water from flowing, it has stairs and glass next to the water and fencegates and it either removes the water texture next to the glass or it becomes the texture for a pumpkin with a blue tint.
I think it has something to do with the glass and staircases
