Minecraft Bedrock Edition - Limited Render Distance

Currently my Galaxy S10e SD 855, is limited to 9 render distance, compared to my old Galaxy S7 Exynos which got up to about 22, My Galaxy S10e is way more powerful than my old Galaxy S7, There are multiple posts on reddit about this being an issue, including comparisons showing older devices having a higher render distance options than newer and faster devices. Newer faster devices should have the same if not higher render distance options than older devices. This greatly effects multiplayer and makes general gameplay less enjoyable.
