Game Crashes When Items are Dropped in Lava

What I expected to happen was...:
For my items to be destroyed in lava as soon as I dropped them in.

What actually happened was...:
When I dropped my items in lava the game crashed and I would teleport to a location near the lava. Sometimes I would still have the items I destroyed.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Find lava
2. Drop any item and your game should crash the moment the items start burning.
