Glitched Oak Logs (Consider checking other logs too)

What I expected to happen was...:
To decorate my mine using side ways logs, but when I placed one I noticed the glitched texture so I thought that if I took it off and picked it up again I would be able to fix it.

What actually happened was...:
As soon as I pick up the glitched log, I look into my inventory and notice the two different types of glitched oak log. When I clicked the log my game crashed.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Place sideways oak logs until you see one with a different texture compared to the other logs.
2. Once you see a glitch log cut it out and pick it up.
3. After you pick it up go into your inventory and click on the log and it should crash your game.
