Can replicate this on any device we use in our realm - various chunks in various places are no longer visible. We've had chunks disappear before, but we're able to fix with a backup or nightly server refresh. However, this is not been able to be fixed by any of the standard self maintenance. I've tried using multiple backups, ranging from hours to days, to before these chunks vanished initially, and it's only getting worse.
In some cases, player built structures are missing while the world itself remains. So you'll have half of a building, like someone sliced it clean off.
People can't interact with some objects anymore, and when riding a minecart, there is an incredible amount of lag while traveling. Not sure what other options there might be to restore what's happening.
