oak wood has all sides the same

Oak wood has the bark on all sides .

What I expected to happen was that the wood would place side ways .

What actually happened was that all sides had the bark texture on it .

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Stack a colum of wood up 4 blocks
2. Place blocks horizontally .
3.keep going and then the bug happens
