When using a mouse and keyboard externally through Ps4 bedrock minecraft,(usb) there is a delay on the keyboard when moving, jumping, etc, but it is not present when typing in the chat in minecraft. delay duration is: around 1/4 of a second. thank you for reading.

I think that the issue is arising because they directly converted controller input to keyboard and brought the dead zones with it. You can't lightly push a key, but you can lightly touch a stick. The result is that your character goes from a standstill through every possible interval he can walk at until he is at base speed. This takes about 1/4 of a second. Which is why every other keyboard input isn’t delayed.
