you appear at a very far distance after an explosion of TNT

When I place a TNT in creative and lit flew map

What I expected to happen was...:
To light the TNT explosion expect push me about 5 blocks away

What actually happened was...:
After the explosion appeared about 500 blocks away

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Place a TNT
2. Turn at a sufficient distance to be affected by the explosion
3. Wait for the explosion
