Bow does not shoot arrows.

When I tried to shoot arrows to defeat mobs, the only thing the bow would do is start digging instead of taking aim. Although, bow works perfectly in creative mode.

What I expected to happen was...:
For the bow to take aim and kill far away monsters.

What actually happened was...:
The bow began to dig or did not aim/do anything for far away monsters.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Select bow
2. Proceed to try and aim at monsters
3. Bow digs or does nothing
