Went to end world to see if there were any changes in the Beta. Looked same as 1.14 but then I tried using a gateway and ended up suffocating in end stone instead of teleporting to the outer island gateway like usual. I tried going there using my oculus rift and then tried from the console too (to be sure it wasnt just an occulus issue)

This bug is in the current RTX release, will bugs fixed in 1.15.0.53 be incorporated into the next RTX release?

Hi Donald,
The RTX beta uses a snapshot of the codebase in 1.15. Its likely that RTX will use a newer codebase once they get the Nether and End sorted for RTX (although thats pure speculation).
