Leash becomes invisible after going a certain distance when in third person back camera perspective

*What I expected to happen was... *

leash should be visible at any distance through any perspective until the leash breaks.

*What actually happened was... *

the leash became invisible after going a certain distance maybe 4 or 5 blocks.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Make sure that the camera perspective is 'third person back'.

  2. Get a leash.

  3. Find a passive mob such as a cow.

  4. Leash the mob.

  5. Go 4 to 6 blocks in any direction.

Yeah all three beta versions of 1.15 has this bug. It is very frustrating ain't it.

Thanks to Ocelotonesie for updating the bug report.

@unknown: Please stop leaving comments on multiple tickets telling people to "report the bug correctly". It's not helpful.

I was trying to help.

Nobody knows the correct guide lines for reporting a bug. The bug reports I have commented on discuss about some badly explained bugs that might greatly hinder the classical minecraft experience. I too, didn't know of the guidelines, so my first bug report was never noticed. I suggest that when ever someone wants to report a bug for the first time, they should be made aware of the guidelines. It is pretty confusing for first timers. Would you prefer me putting the link for guidelines than saying "Report the bug correctly"?

I appreciate you trying to help. I would definitely prefer you including a link to the Issue Guidelines and explaining why than saying "Report the bug correctly".

Or

Is it I got it boss?

Whatever it maybe. I will do as you prefer.

It gets fixed in 1.15.0.55 Beta.
