Piglins only barter flint and steel, nether wart blocks, and obsidian

Explaining the bug
The bartering with piglings is not working well, it depend on how the player interacts with the mob so now I will explain what happens in different cases.

When right-clicking with a gold ingot, piglins will only give the player flint and steel and obsidian. When throwing gold ingots, piglins only give nether wart blocks.

Piglins should give the following items:

  • Netherite hoe

  • Iron nugget

  • Potion and splash potion of fire resistance

  • Nether quartz

  • Glowstone dust

  • Magma cream

  • Ender pearl

  • String

  • Fire charge

  • Gravel

  • Leather

  • Nether brick (item)

  • Obsidian

  • Soul sand

How to reproduce

  1. Look for a piglin or spawn it.

  2. Right-click or throw gold ingot.

Also they drop Crying Obsidian, but need to wait until they add it in the next beta.

Items that piglins should give but is currently not added:

  • Crying Obsidian

  • Iron boots with soul speed

  • Enchanted book with soul speed

Here are the list of features that piglins barter currently in the Java Edition.

I've read on https://minecraft.gamepedia.com/Bartering that the list  of barters you have given above currently only applies as upcoming Java Edition features. What I would like to know is whether they would add the same list of barters to Bedrock Edition later or not.

I suggest they are still developing the complete loot table in Bedrock Edition. The full update is not yet released; this might be just an introduction to the concept of bartering with piglins until they develop all the other barters on Bedrock Edition.

Besides that features are always developed on Java Edition first before importing to Bedrock and developing there later, which is why full updates are released later on Bedrock Edition. I don't believe the features now developing on Java will be denied from Bedrock, since parity was a main goal in this upcoming update.
