Issue: Non-flammable blocks that catch on fire in the overworld are not extinguishing themselves. Eg: There are dirt blocks near my base that have been on fire for the past three days.
Expected result: Blocks should extinguish after waiting for a while.
Reproduce: Set a block on fire (eg: obsidian) in the overworld; can use flint and steel. Wait a long time; it does not extinguish.
Also, blocks in my world are randomly ignite. That's a bit irritating, but I can deal with it. Not sure how you can reproduce this.

I've up-voted Yours
I have found that during thunder storms lighting is causing fires everywhere but they are not going out. Could explain your "random" blocks igniting.

Thanks for the hard work IconicEcko!
When I submit a bug report, I spend at least 10 minutes looking for the issue. I found several other issues that have already been reported, but I wasn't able to find this one while searching.
Will add my info to the specified issue; wish I could mark this as duplicate myself 😛
No problems at all 🙂
As long as you search first that's the main thing, everyone (even us helpers and mods) can accidentally miss one now and then!
