In this current beta version, fire has a problem. Fist, it is not spreading at all, second it isn't even burning leaves or wood and just sitting there which bring me to my last issue, it isn't going out. it sits indefinitely on grass as well.

We're actually already tracking this issue at MCPE-69072 and MCPE-69075.
If you would like to add a vote and any extra information to the main ticket it would be appreciated.
Please don't forget to use the search feature before logging a bug report to see if the bug has already been mentioned. The less time the volunteers spend linking duplicates the more time we can spend confirming and updating bugs.
