If you give any item to a fox it wont pick it up and appear in there mouth if they spawn with an item in there mouth, it will show the item that they are holding in there mouth however if you give the fox any relatable food item and drop it by the fox, the fox will pick it up but doesn't drop the item that they are currently holding
