When going into a nether portal (from the nether or the overworld), items in the main hand either disappears entirely, or is partially clipped, depending on where you are looking. I have verified this using different worlds.

nothing unusual when going into a portal
What happened:
Items are not showing up properly in the portal

Go into a nether portal in survival
