No music in game. Checked volume and settings. All is good. I do not want to do a reinstall because I may lose my world's (saved to device) and I do not have access to realms.

The game has no music at all. Not even the music box, or note box works. The classic Minecraft music is also not there. I cannot reinstall as I have a massive build that I have been working on for ages and I will lose the world. I am not on realms or a server. This is saved to my android device. I am uncertain of why the music has stopped working. It's like the files themselves have vanished
