Armor stands resetting position

I do detail work with armor stands, and always have them at weird angles and inside blocks. Recently, on my realm, they reset their position if i log out and log back on. In the picture, it was supposed to look like a diamond sword was sitting on the anvil. When it reset, it sent itself to the nearest solid block. I've also experienced armor stands phasing through slabs and daylight sensors
