I have had this problem just going into my own worlds when a skin made on Skinseed or from the internet is used. The error says my skin is "corrupt or invalid" and defaults to an alex or steve skin. It is able to load in but appears blank when it says to select a skin type. There is nothing wrong with my skin formats, PE is not allowing custom skins to be used which makes the game not as sun to play.

Here too, sometimes it goes back to my old skin but my customized skin won’t work.
After I tried to import it, it was blank, including the Steve and Alex skins went blank.

I have a similar problem. I would put on a custom skin, but the next day it will switch to a store bought skin which i used the previous time i opened the game.
