Blocks not dropping when mined and can't copy world

I try to break blocks, but they won't drop, even when a friend joins me, the same thing applies to them as it does me. We've tried finding things online to try and sort out the issue, however none of those worked. I also am unable to copy the world. I used to be able to do so quite fine. My world size is 153.3mb. My iCloud storage is full, however I have about 9.37GB left on my phone storage. Other worlds still work perfectly fine, blocks drop and I can copy them.
