When I spawn a boat beside a block, it doesn't go

My device is a Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini. When I go in a boat that I put beside a block, it looks like 1/4 of the boat is inside the block. When I ride the boat, I can't move around, look around and I can't leave the boat. When I press the 'Leave boat' button, I jump out but go back in the boat.
