i cant play because of "privacy settings"

i supposedly cant play minecraft multiplayer because of my privacy and account settings. so i do what the text says and, nothing. nothing changes. ive had this bug for months now and hoped that a game like minecraft would fix this. no update changed this. so i looked for more people that had this and all of the reports were "invalid"? i know for a fact that my account settings are fine, so its a bug. please get this fixed, since mojang has already made a page telling you how to fix it (doesn't work either), you guys must know about it.
