This bug has been reported a few years ago but apparently this bug is still on the Xbox One.
Steps to recreate:
Place block next to the wall you want to enter
Place a boat on top
Lastly, enter the boat and move forward
How the bug could be fixed:
Maybe try patching the ability to partially insert a boat into a block
Maybe add a more rigid hitbox to the boat entity
