The 'editions' button on Minecraft that allows you to cycle through old and new Minecraft versions is completely missing on my downloadable version of Minecraft PlayStation 4 Edition.
I have observed the same problems with other people, however, the cause of their problem has been reported by Microsoft as a glitch with the disc version of the game.
Microsoft says that the 'editions' button is meant to still appear on the downloadable/digital version. I bought Minecraft digitally from the PlayStation Store. I expected the 'editions' button to appear so that I could play the older (and more enjoyable) version of Minecraft. However, the button was missing completely. I scoured settings to see if the button had been moved, however, this was not the case. My friend has the same version of Minecraft on his PlayStation 4, which they also downloaded from the PlayStation Store, and they have the 'editions' button on their main menu. Has this been noticed, it is a significant problem for me, as I don't enjoy the newer version of Minecraft.
