The Nether Update, v. 1.16.0, broke the recipe book in bedrock edition and recipes no longer show up until crafted. This behavior affects existing worlds and new worlds, and persists upon uninstalling and reinstalling. I have lost all of my recipes. This is not listed as a change in the changelog, nor is it a desirable function.
