I was making a gold farm in the new update and I used a turtle egg to attract the zombie piglins down a hole to their death. For some reason they don't go towards the egg as they are for some reason not attracted to it. I tested it in a creative and it only worked 1 time when the doors were open. The turtle egg has to have a block underneath it for some reason.

Just experienced the exact same thing. If I place a sand block and then an egg on top they all run for it. As soon as I use trap doors round the egg to protect it they stop and ignore it.
I created an efficient gold farm but sometimes a baby zombified Piglin falls onto the turtle eggs when falling to the kill chamber and I tried to add trapdoors to prevent this and the zombified Piglins do not see the eggs. Which breaks the nether gold farm. This is also a bug on the IOS platform
